Hello and happy Friday! I hope you have big plans for the weekend that may or may not include some beach time like this cute little angel.
This card was made for the #SummerAspired campaign on Instagram using the Pretty Pink Posh Summer Friends stamp set. I not only love the adorable little characters, but the font, in the sentiment, is SUPER fun.
The card base is Neenah Desert Storm in 80# weight. The panel is also Neenah Desert Storm and die cut using the MFT Stamps A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set. This is a great set to invest in as I use this more than any other set for card panels!
The panel is popped up using Scotch 3m foam tape for dimension. The images are stamped on Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock and simply colored using Spectrum Noir Triblend markers. The shading under the stamped images is also done with the Triblend markers for a little added dimension. I also popped up the diecut images with Scrapbook Adhesives Thin 3D Foam Squares. They are my favorite dimensional product for diecut images.
The sentiment is stamped in VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and heat embossed using Simon Says Stamp Clear embossing powder. I colored in the lenses of the sunglasses with the Therm O Web Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and applied a little Deco Foil for a little something “extra”. To finish the card, I used glossy accents to fill in the sunglasses and the glass of lemonade to add a little shine!
I’m writing this as I sit overlooking Old Hickory Lake in Nashville, TN. A little family R&R to give us all a reset! Do what you can to give yourself a “reset”. I know it helps me to get creative juices flowing again! Share some kindness today!
