Anyone else start planning their Christmas cards in the middle of a heat wave???? 100+ degrees in Missouri right now and we are sweating in places we don’t care to discuss, but I’m thinking of cooler temps and festivities that we didn’t get to enjoy last year!!!!

All the stamp companies start releasing holiday stamps and dies this time of year and it gets my creative juices flowing!!!! I love to make Christmas cards and if I start now, I might have enough to mail to all my friends and family come December 1st!!

The Rabbit Hole Designs has some ADORABLE sets in their new release! I am in LOVE with this cute Kringle and his stitched trees. This design incorporates a slimline design and is SO charming! I colored the images using my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. I am really loving these markers, of late. My copics are getting a much deserved holiday. Part of the charm of this card is using non-traditional colors, i.e. a pink Santa and Jade Green Trees.

The background is Concord & 9th Cranberry cardstock, which I scored .25” from the outside edge on all sides using my Scor-Buddy. The Cranberry card panel is cut down to 3” x 8” to allow for the white margin of the card base. All images are popped up with thin adhesive foam squares, because dimension is life!! Am I right?

The sentiment is from the Kringle stamp set and stamped using VersaMark Clear ink and heat embossed using Wow Embossing powder in Gold Metallic. The Gold really pops on the rich red background!

The card base is my favorite Neenah Solar White in 110# weight. A simple and fun start to my Christmas card collection!

All products mentioned are linked. Let me know if you have any questions and please send some cool breezes my way! This menopause Mama can’t handle the heat like I used to! Whew!

Hugs,
