Hello friends! Welcome to my blog. Today I have a card made using the Play, Learn, Grow stamps and dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs. These owls are darling!

I started with the You’ve Been Framed dies. I used the two smallest sized rectangles and taped them together to die cut a dark brown frame for the the “chalkboard” feature of the card. I then cut a piece of black cardstock to layer behind the frame to create the chalkboard. I heat embossed three sentiments from the stamp set on the black cardstock and then adhered to the frame with liquid glue.

The card base is an A2, top folding base. I masked off the front panel at the folding seam and lightly stenciled on a brick pattern to replicate a wall behind the chalkboard. I mounted the chalkboard onto the base using foam strips. I then chose one image from the stamp set and stamped and colored with alcohol markers. After die cutting the image, I adhered it to the corner of the chalkboard using foam squares. I also borrowed the flower spray stamp from the School Sightings stamp set and colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut, and adhered to the top, left corner of the chalk board.

The chalk board looks even more authentic if you’re not real good about cleaning off the residual powder from the powder tool when heat embossing!! This stamp set is super cute and I just love these little owls.

Thank you for visiting today. Please leave comments below. I’d love to hear what you think!!
